Luna & Max - Akad
In the quiet embrace of the Ayung River valley, Luna & Max exchanged their vows at COMO Shambhala Estate—a sanctuary of wellness, nature, and understated elegance. Known for its sacred springs and holistic philosophy, the Estate offered a profoundly peaceful setting for the Akad Nikah, their Islamic wedding ceremony.
Framed by towering trees and ancient stone walls softened by moss, the ceremony was held on the Estate’s water garden platform, where nature felt close and every detail whispered intention. This was not just a wedding—it was a spiritual union grounded in heritage and held in a place that honours stillness and sacred connection.
Luna appeared radiant in an intricately beaded ivory kebaya, her veil floating softly as she walked towards Max. He waited with quiet presence beneath a canopy of tropical greens, dressed in timeless suiting and a batik sash, a subtle tribute to the culture that brought them together.
The moment the vows were spoken, there was a stillness—as if the surrounding forest, river, and sky paused to bear witness. The air carried the sound of water and birdsong, and a sense of reverence lingered long after the ceremony concluded.
This Akad was not only a formal rite—it was a deeply personal affirmation. It wove together faith, memory, and the peacefulness of nature, creating a space where Luna & Max could step into marriage with clarity, calm, and immense gratitude.
