Paulina Katarina x Soulshine Bali x Born Into Motherhood
HOLDING THE SUN was a Mother’s Luncheon hosted by Paulina Katarina to celebrate the launch of her collection, Reverie.
Our design approach centred on warmth, symbolism, and intention. A custom marigold-hued batik by The Host Table grounded the table, layered with fresh marigolds and sculptural petai for depth and contrast. In collaboration with Anecdote Gifts, Ketupat Yuyu was placed at each setting, a woven Balinese emblem of protection and transition. Held at Soulshine Bali in Ubud, the luncheon was conceived as a space of beauty, reflection, and shared motherhood.
