Bella & Sharul
For Bella and Sharul, each wedding celebration was designed as its own distinct experience, with a clear narrative and atmosphere. The Haldi ceremony was approached as a meaningful standalone moment, honouring tradition while elevating it through scale, restraint, and thoughtful design.
Set within the Bird Lounge of the resort, the space was transformed using over 300 kilograms of magnolias. The floral choice was deliberate, symbolising purity, renewal, and blessing, all central to the Haldi ritual. The density of flowers created an immersive yet intimate environment, while the enclosed nature of the Bird Lounge offered a sense of calm and focus for the ceremony.
The Haldi marks a moment of preparation and transition, grounding the couple in ritual, family, and intention before the celebrations unfold. Our design centred on supporting this significance, allowing the ceremony to feel sacred without excess, and ensuring the setting enhanced, rather than overshadowed, the meaning of the moment.
