Bella & Sharul

The Western ceremony and reception was envisioned as a quiet, romantic counterpoint within the four part celebration. Bella wore a vintage gown sourced by her brother, adding a deeply personal layer to the moment and grounding the ceremony in family and history. The exchange took place within a candlelit setting, creating a sense of intimacy and softness.

The couple first met in a garden in New York, and this story became the emotional foundation for the design. We drew on that origin and reinterpreted it in Bali, weaving the concept seamlessly into the iconic gardens of Tanah Gajah. Rather than transforming the landscape, the approach was to enhance what already existed, allowing the setting to feel natural and unforced.

The design was intentionally ethereal, bringing forward Western heritage and romantic restraint to balance the richness of the Indian ceremonies. This contrast allowed each celebration to stand on its own while remaining part of a cohesive, considered whole.
